§ Mr. CousinsThe collaborative programme between the Atomic Energy Authority and industry is under way. A design study for a 30 million gallon a day plant, applying flash distillation techniques, has been completed in conjunction with Weir Westgarth Ltd. Further work on improving the techniques and economics of the process is in progress; and other methods of desalination are also being studied.
