§ Mr. RossAs at September, 1964, there were 580 physiotherapists employed in the National Health Service in Scotland. This provides adequate cover, but about 90 more would be required to fill all vacancies. The physiotherapy schools have no shortage of applicants for training and the immediate problem is shortage of physiotherapy teachers. Steps are being taken to remedy this.
