§ Mr. Bossomasked the Minister of Transport whether he will instruct local highway authorities to use a mist spray for verge markings on second and third class roads as an aid to movement and 32W safety, and in view of the facts that it has proved to be long lasting and relatively cheaper than conventional paint marking.
§ Mr. Tom FraserThe Road Research Laboratory has in hand a study of the use of various types of material for the edge marking of carriageways. When its report is available I will certainly consider what recommendations I should issue to local highway authorities.
