§ Mr. McInnesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what plans he has for giving financial assistance to the Scottish Tourist Board; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RossThe Chairman of the Scottish Tourist Board has written to inform me that its Executive has agreed in principle to major changes in its constitution, which will enable the Board to do even more for Scottish tourism. I have replied welcoming this forward-looking decision and intimating that I should be happy to offer the new Board a grant-in-aid of up to £75,000 to be spent over three years on an agreed programme of research.
