Mr. Hefferasked the Prime Minister what is the present position regarding the proposed meeting between the European Economic Community Governments and the European Free Trade Association Governments; and what proposals have been made by Her Majesty's Government for a permanent arrangement between the European Economic Community Commission and the European Free Trade Association Secretariat.
§ The Prime MinisterThe European Free Trade Association Council is now preparing recommendations for further action which will be considered by Ministers of the European Free Trade Association countries at their meeting in Copenhagen in October.
