§ Mr. MacDermotTotal private investment in developing countries by the United Kingdom in 1964, net of disinvestment, is provisionally estimated as268W £75 million, subject to a margin of error of plus or minus £15 million. Detailed figures are not yet available but it is estimated that just under half of this investment was in developing Commonwealth countries and just over half in developing non-Commonwealth countries.
Estimates for the financial year 1964–65 and forecasts for the financial years 1965–66 and 1966–67 are not available.
