§ Mr. Powellasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance when she anticipates that the Commissioner will determine the appeal of the insurance officer against the decision of the local appeal tribunal on 27th January, 1965, in favour of Mrs. D. M. Hill, 23 Rindleford Avenue, Wolverhampton; and what action she took on the request of the right hon. Member for Wolverhampton, South-West on 2nd July for an urgent decision.
§ Miss HerbisonThe Commissioner is an independent authority not subject in any way to my directions. I am informed, however, that Mrs. Hill was notified on 14th July that the hearing of her case has been fixed for 4th August.
