§ Mr. Tom FraserUp to yesterday I had given consent to 19 proposals for the closure of passenger services and stations in England, six in Scotland and one in Wales. I had also refused consent to five proposals in England and one in Scotland. Since 16th October, 1964, the Railways Board had given statutory 231W notice of 23 proposals affecting passenger services and stations in England, three in Scotland and one in Wales.
