§ Sir R. Russellasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that it is now common for people due to take a driving test to be impersonated; and, in view of the danger which may thus be caused to other road users, if he will take steps to make impersonation at driving tests impossible.
§ Mr. Tom FraserI have no evidence that impersonation in the driving test is widespread. Examiners have ways of detecting this offence and I have no reason to suppose that the precautions taken are inadequate.
