HC Deb 15 July 1965 vol 716 cc121-2W
The Earl of Dalkeith

asked the Minister of Technology how many fact-finding visits he has made to Scotland in the last eight months to assess its technological potential.

Mr. Cousins

I recently paid visits to the Atomic Energy Establishments at Dounreay and Chapelcross, during which I also met representatives of local authorities in those areas.

Through my Regional Office in Edinburgh I am represented on the Scottish Regional Planning Board, advising on scientific and technological aspects of economic development.
