§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will take the necessary action to empower traffic wardens to issue warning notices to drivers of vehicles who are using vehicles on the road without having the required statutory excise licence.
§ Mr. George ThomasMy right hon. and learned Friend is keeping under review the question of possible further extensions of the functions of traffic wardens, and he has noted this together with other suggestions.
