As I informed the hon. and gallant Member, in order to assist the Council in their study of this very complicated problem, and at their request, my Department has undertaken a number of studies relating to the circumstances of those receiving the lower rates of industrial death benefit. I understand that the Council are now considering the results of some of these studies.
