§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on the shipment of Japanese rockets to Indonesia, in view of its implications for British troops in Malaysia.
§ Mr. George ThomsonFive Kappa 8 rockets were shipped from Yokahama to Indonesia on the 1st of July. Her Majesty's Government understand that these are meteorological sounding rockets which have no military value in their present form and that it would be difficult to adapt them to military purposes.
