§ 94. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will increase the wage and salary scale of those employed in the Attorney General's Department by 25 per cent.; and whether he will increase the pension of former employees by 25 per cent.
§ Mr. MacDermotNo. The pay of members of the Department is determined in accordance with well established procedures which have been agreed with the unions and staff associations concerned; increases in the pensions of former employees are governed by the Pensions (Increase) Acts.
