HL Deb 06 July 1965 vol 267 c1314WA
VISCOUNT FURNESS

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have yet taken the initiative in the establishment of normal postal services including parcel post and air mail between the United Kingdom and the Mongolian People's Republic.

LORD HOBSON

A service for surface mail letters is already in operation; and my right honourable friend is in correspondence with the postal authorities concerned with a view to extending the service to air mail letters and to air and surface parcels. He will write to the noble Viscount when the negotiations are complete.

House adjourned at eleven minutes past ten o'clock.
