§ Mr. LoughlinRecruiting arrangements, which are primarily the responsibility of the hospital authorities, are generally satisfactory but my right hon. Friend has improvements constantly in mind. He has no plans for changing the negotiating machinery but he is keeping under general review the working of the Whitley Councils.
§ 46. Mr. Hugh Fraserasked the Minister of Health whether he will seek to set up a central pool of pharmacists in each hospital management region, with members of the pool receiving an expense allowance and being on call for any hospital in the area.
§ Mr. LoughlinThe recently agreed substantial increases in the pay of hospital pharmacists will I hope improve 163W recruitment and my right hon. Friend does not at present think that such a scheme is needed.
