§ Mr. Tom FraserOn 1st June, 1964, nearly 1,200 people were awaiting their driving test and the waiting period was six weeks. On the same date this year the number was 2,700 and the waiting period was just over twelve weeks. The recruitment of driving examiners now in progress should progressively reduce the waiting period.
