Mr. BoydonA marginal gap between supply and demand is affecting cement supplies in most parts of the country: I have no evidence to suggest that the situation in Northumberland is exceptional. My right hon. Friend and I recently met the cement producers who already have under way a record increase in capacity, and have also assured us that they will continue to import cement until home supplies match demand.
