§ Mr. Peter Millsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what proposals he has for bringing the primary schools of Devon up to the standard laid down by his Department.
Mr. CrosslandIn general it is for the local education authority to make proposals for improving school premises. Such proposals may be made within the authority's allocation for minor capital works or, in the case of larger projects, by submission for a major building programme.
