§ Mr. Evelyn Kingasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government, in respect of how many properties within the area covered by Swanage Urban District Council assessments made by the valuation officer have been reversed on appeal.
§ Mr. MacCollAt 31st December last local valuation courts in Swanage had heard fifty-three appeals by ratepayers against the valuation officer's assessments and had made some reduction to the rateable value in nine. Of the fourty-four cases in which the local valuation court made no reduction, a group of ten were subsequently taken to the Lands Tribunal, where reductions were made.
