§ Mr. Joseph SlaterThere is no anomaly here. We refund or abate broadcast receiving licence fees when it is clear that the licensee has paid twice for the same facility. This might involve the refundment of fees for duplicated licences (whether sound, or sound arid television) or an abatement of the combined sound and television licence fee when an unexpired sound only licence is surrendered on purchase of a combined licence.
