§ Mr. Wingfield Digbyasked the Minister of Public Building and Works how much money is still available under the Armed Forces Housing Loans Acts; when it will be exhausted under existing married quarters programmes; and what decision he has reached about the renewal of these Acts.
§ Miss Jennie LeeOf the total of £95 million provided for under the present Acts, nearly £9 million is available of which about £2.8 million would remain unspent if the Acts were allowed to expire on 31st March, 1965. As the hon. Member will be aware, my right hon. Friend is about to introduce a Bill to extend these Acts.

§ Miss Jennie LeeThe number built up to the end of December, 1964, is 31,750, at a cost of about £90 million. Total interest payable over the next 60 years for outstanding loans is just over £90 million.
