Friend has written to a number of manufacturers and trade associations about some recent price increases and he and other Board of Trade Ministers will shortly be holding meetings with them. As regards future policy, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given on 19th January to my hon. Friend the Member for Wolverhampton, North-East (Mrs. Renee Short) by my right hon. Friend the First Secretary.
