§ Mr. Roy JenkinsOn Thursday, 14th January, my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary and I met a deputation from the plants involved in the manufacture of the TSR2 and other workers in the aircraft industry.
This afternoon I shall be meeting representatives of the Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions, and tomorrow I shall be having talks with the Trades Union Congress.

§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI am closely informed as a result of numerous discussions of the views of the manufacturers about the capabilities of the TSR2 but for comparison of British and foreign aircraft my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Defence and I rely primarily on the military and technical assessment of our Departments.
