§ Mr. Lomasasked the Minister of Transport if he will make a further statement concerning the Lancashire-Yorkshire motorway, in so far as it affects the village of Outlane, in Huddersfield; and whether he has now decided to hold a public inquiry.
§ Mr. Tom FraserI have decided that a public inquiry must be held concerning the draft Outlane-Lofthouse Special Road Scheme. I will give the statutory six weeks' notice to the objectors to that scheme as soon as the necessary preparations are made.
