§ Mr. Geoffrey Lloydasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will make a statement on the progress of consulations in the working party set up by the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade.
§ Mr. JayI assume that the right hon. Member refers to the working party set up to examine the United Kingdom's balance of payments difficulties and the measures taken to remedy them. This working party met in Geneva from 7th to 11th December. It recognised the seriousness of these difficulties and the need for action. It will meet again on 3rd March.
