§ 35. Mr. Tilneyasked the Minister of Overseas Development what is her policy towards helping existing and potential British private investment in developing countries of the Commonwealth; and what priority she gives as between this form of aid and Government to Government loans.
§ Mrs. CastleBoth Government aid and private investment are of benefit to the developing countries, but since private investment is a matter of private initiative the question of priority hardly arises.
