§ Mr. George ThomsonYes. It is proposed to increase the grant for the current year by £1,000, subject to Parliamentary approval, to assist the Committee in meeting certain urgent new administrative costs. The House will be asked in due course to approve a supplementary estimate; in the meantime an advance is being obtained from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
