Mr. Boyd-Carpenterasked the Minister of Health what is the average length of time served by chairmen of regional boards who have ceased to hold such office during the last 10 years; in how many cases during this period a chairman has not been reappointed after serving one term; in how many cases during this period a chairman has been reappointed at the conclusion of his first term of appointment; and in the case of those not reappointed after one term, how many had expressed willingness to be reappointed for a further term.
