§ Mr. Bostonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will encourage the Location of Offices Bureau to draw to the attention of firms seeking to move or set up offices out of London, but which need to remain in the South-East area, the advantages of the Isle of Sheppey, where there is considerable scope for development.
§ Mr. MellishThe purpose of the Bureau is not to press the claims of any one area against others, but to help firms who wish to move out by providing information on which they can decide how their requirements can best be met. Any firms wishing to move to the Isle of Sheppey would get the full assistance of the Bureau.
