§ Mr. Martenasked the Minister of Aviation what studies he made, before withdrawing their petrol tax concession, of the practice in other countries of assisting the private flying movement; and if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the results of those studies.
§ Mr. StonehouseNo special studies of this kind were made. My Department has, of course, information about the practice in a number of other countries, but the decision to end the petrol tax rebate was based on the particular needs of this country.
