§ Sir S. Summersasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will review the arrangements in force for granting to those in Government service leave of absence, with or without pay, to enable them to do justice to their public responsibilities in local government, such as being mayor of a local town without unreasonable financial sacrifice.
§ Mr. MacDermotI propose to review the arrangements in the light of a survey I am making of their present application.
