HC Deb 09 February 1965 vol 706 c59W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he is aware that, out of 1,641 people who recently bought a newly built house, 91 per cent. found them to be faulty; and what action he will take to improve house building standards.

Mr. Crossman

I have read the article in "Which?" for February, 1965, which my hon. Friend no doubt has in mind. I am consulting the National Federation of Building Trades Employers, the National House-Builders Registration Council and other interested bodies about possible means of improving house-building standards.
