§ Mr. Maxwellasked the Minister of Transport why the pensions of former employees of British Railways are not increased at the same time as those of civil servants.
§ Mr. Tom FraserRailway pensions are not the direct responsibility of Her Majesty's Government, like those of civil servants, but of the British Railways Board. Two of their supplementation schemes were introduced at the same time as Civil Service pensions were increased, the last on 1st January, 1963.
