HC Deb 04 February 1965 vol 705 c334W
Mr. Russell Johnston

asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what would be the extra cost of paying pensions at the full rate to British nationals resident in the Channel Isles.

Mr. Pentland

At current rates of National Insurance retirement pension the extra cost would be about £100,000 a year, or at the new rates provided under the National Insurance &c. Act, 1964, nearly £200,000 a year.
