§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will undertake a revision of the lists of buildings of architectural or historic interest in the country, with a view to ensuring that all houses on the lists should be of sufficient architectural or historic interest to justify grants for restoration or preservation.
§ Mr. MacCollNo. My right hone Friend's duty under section 32 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1962, is to compile lists of buildings of special architectural or historic interest. All such buildings are in fact eligible for grants from local authorities under the Local Authorities (Historic Buildings) Act, 1962.
