HC Deb 02 February 1965 vol 705 cc274-5W
Q12. Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Prime Minister what immediate steps he intends to take to reduce, and finally to eliminate, the international traffic in second-hand military equipment and arms.

The Prime Minister

Her Majesty's Government regard this question as an important one and, in relation to our review of disarmament policies, a study is now being made of the possibility of securing international agreement to regulate the traffic in arms. But I have at present nothing to add to what I told the House on 16th December last.
