HC Deb 02 February 1965 vol 705 c267W
Sir J. Eden

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many proposals for reduction in the rateable assessments of domestic hereditaments in Bournemouth were received between 1st April, 1963, and 1st April, 1964; and how many are still awaiting a hearing by the Valuation Panel.

Mr. MacDermot

4,170 proposals for properties of all kinds—separate figures for domestic hereditaments are not available. About 1,060 of these cases are awaiting a hearing, but a number of them may of course be settled out of court.
