§ The Prime MinisterMy right hon. Friend the First Secretary of State is responsible for ensuring that the regional plans for Scotland and other parts of Great Britain are consistent with our national economic policies and with our plan for the country as a whole. The setting up of planning machinery in Scotland, and the actual formulation and implementation of the Scottish plans, are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland.
