Mr. J. E. B. Hillasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether the Universities Central Council on Admissions has now completed its work of allocating students to university places for the current year; and what courses in which universites have not been filled.
§ Mr. CroslandI am not responsible for the work of the Universities Central Council on Admissions, which is a body set up by the universities themselves. I understand, however, that its report on applications and admissions for the current academic year, in respect of which its work is now completed, will be published about the end of January.
