Osbornasked the Secretary of State for Defence what proposals he has for implementing the White Paper, Command Paper No. 2855, on the reorganisation of the Army Reserves; and whether he will now delay instructions to implement them to the Council of Territorial and Auxiliary Forces Associations until such time as the Defence Review has been completed.
§ Mr. MulleyAs the White Paper explains, legislation will be needed to implement the proposals. The Government will introduce this in the New Year. Meanwhile planning for the reorganisation will continue.
