Mr. Clifford Williamsasked the Minister of Health how many group practices for general practitioners, as envisaged under the National Health Service Act, 1946, are working in co-operation with local health authorities in Wales; and what steps have been taken to develop this service.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonSix health centres are at present being operated under Section 21 of the Act, and others are being built or planned. Local health authorities also co-operate with general practitioners in other ways, for example, by attaching health visitors to their practices and by renting clinic accommodation for use as branch surgeries.
