§ Mr. George ThomasThe Metropolitan Police receive flood warnings from the Storm Tide Warning Service operating from the Meteorological Office and these warnings are augmented by reports from river watching stations. Residents in threatened areas are warned by police 373W loud-speaker vans in accordance with advice given by the Greater London Council. No information has come to my right hon. and learned Friends notice to suggest that the arrangements which have been made are not adequate.
