§ Mr. George ThomsonYes. Her Majesty's Government have agreed that a limited amount of assistance may be given to the commemoration from public funds, and are in consultation with the co-ordinating committee under the Chairmanship of Lieutenant-General Sir Reginald Denning, who is expected to submit proposals. Parliament will be asked to approve a Supplementary Estimate if necessary.
