§ Mr. ThorntonThe Central Training Council is shortly to publish a memorandum drawing attention to the advantages of programmed instruction, and recommending to training boards that this method of training be further developed and encouraged in industry. The Council itself intends, through its Research Committee, to stimulate further research into the application of programmed instruction.
