§ 88. Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when the Development Plan for Gibraltar will be completed; if it will be published; and if he will make a statement on the prospect of British financial support.
§ Mr. GreenwoodI assume the hon. Member is referring to the Report of the Gibraltar Study Group. I understand that a summary of its recommendations is expected to be submitted to the Gibraltar Government in the next few days. Whether these recommendations will be published is a matter for the Gibraltar Government to consider.
As regards development assistance I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which my right hon. Friend the Minister for Overseas Development gave to the hon. Member for Glasgow, Cathcart (Mr. Edward M. Taylor) on 4th November.
