§ Mr. CroslandThe need is to bring information already available to the attention of school children, their parents and teachers, in a readily comprehensible form, at the time when they need it most and in a way which is relevant to their individual circumstances. Steps recently taken by my Department to this end include the issue of advice to schools on careers guidance and improved publicity on opportunities in higher and further education.
