§ Mr. MacDermotThe number of staff employed in the Treasury rose by 89 between October, 1964 and October, 1965. Allowing for alterations resulting from transfers of work the net increase was 35. The number of staff likely to be in post in October, 1966 will depend on decisions which are still being considered in connection with the 1966–67 Estimates.
