§ Mr. Rhodesasked the President of the Board of Trade (1) what inquiries he is undertaking under Section 165 of the Companies Act, 1948 in respect of the fraudulent trading activities of the Arctic 149W White Laundry Limited, which is operating in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and other areas;
(2) what inquiries he is undertaking under Section 165 of the Companies Act, 1948 in respect of the fraudulent trading activities of Laundrex Properties Limited, which is operating in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and other areas.
§ Mr. DarlingOn present information I am not satisfied that the Board of Trade would be justified in appointing inspectors under Section 165(b) of the Companies Act, 1948, to investigate the affairs of Laundrex Properties Ltd. and Arctic White Laundry Ltd.
