Mr. Clifford Williamsasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will take steps to provide houses for miners who will be affected by colliery closures and may wish to move to other collieries.
§ Mr. James GriffithsThe Welsh Office and the National Coal Board have arranged a programme of some 3,000 dwellings in the areas where there are labour shortages. About 800 of these houses have been completed, and the bulk of the others are in various stages of construction or planning.
